School Meals, Packed Lunches & Special Dietary Requirements

Hot meals are cooked at our Brockham site and we are able to offer children a balanced and healthy cooked lunch. Our children at Betchworth and Leigh are also able to have freshly cooked meals, delivered daily from Brockham.

All Infants will be offered a piece of fruit daily, as part of a nationwide initiative to develop healthy eating habits in our youngest children.

Every child is encouraged to bring a named water bottle into school daily. This can be refilled day to day as necessary.

From 1st September 2017, school meals will be £2.25 per day / £11.25 per week.  Payable in advance on the first day of each week or half termly / termly if preferred.

Cost of meals per half term will take into account any trips and will be published in the newsletters for your information.

Changes to Meal Preference

All years please note : One weeks' written notice is required if you change your meal preference ie: from packed lunch to school meal or vice versa.  This applies to ALL children, including those who receive Universal Free School Meals.

As well as term time changes, it also means that a change of meal choice taking affect after a school holiday MUST be advised in writing a week before the end of the previous term/academic year. If the decision to change is made during the holiday, it will be necessary for the child to continue with their previous choice for the first week of term and for an immediate notification to be given to the school office.

Surrey Commercial Services have their own website dedicated to school meals and healthy eating:
